The Sofia Loren - CAC Figure Type The 50's Glamour Girl -CAC
Where Marilyn was all soft and natural Sofia is more heavily controlled and stiff. She seems always angry, probably due to the discomfort caused by her overstrict foundation garments.

The CAC figure is definitely not natural for long, gravity sees to that. In fashion, it is a reminant of the late Victorian & Edwardian eras, which we find firmly in the glamour girl / holiwood icons of the 50's. In the earlier era, some women boasted of waist measurements in the mid teens.

The effect is to accentuate the bosom and the bottom, which are thrown to the back and leveraged forward respectively, in an attempt to balance each other.
